Many timeshare owners in Ohio are looking for fast ways to recall their timeshare agreements. In the last couple of years, timeshare owners submitted several complaints to the Ohio Attorney General's office. The industry has doubled in the area, because the shareowners are also attempting to sell the property.

Las Vegas-based timeshare operator Consolidated Resorts Inc. and affiliated companies started filing for bankruptcy protection Tuesday, as expected, in what promises to be a massive case involving hundreds of millions of dollars in debt.

In an eye-catching ad in a New York Times real estate supplement that ran on Jan. 10, The Ritz-Carlton Club Aspen Highlands, part of The Ritz-Carlton Hotelgroup, a unit of Marriott International, tempted well-heeled potential clients with the opportunity to own a home in one of the country's top ski resorts and to have that home cared for by The Ritz-Carlton.
